Offering Alternative Therapy with Smiles was founded as a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization in 1997. Located on 40 acres in Ortonville, Mich., O.A.T.S. and its staff of caring, dedicated and enthusiastic instructors and volunteers provide equine-assisted therapy and a lot of smiles on a weekly basis, year-round, to more than 100 children and adults with a wide variety of physical and emotional disabilities.

Below is a link to donate to O.A.T.S., as they rely on donations to keep their non-profit afloat, horses fed, and cared for. There are lots of ways to support O.A.T.S., including sponsoring a horse or donating towards their wishlist of items needed for everyday operations.
